Payment Policy – We are proud to announce that we offer more to the consignee than most consignment stores.

• The Consignor will receive 50% of the selling price if the item is sold within the 30-day consignment period.
• All Consignors must complete and sign a Consignor Agreement before their first consignment. The Consignor Agreement sets terms and conditions related to consigning items.
• Only unsold items priced at $50 or more are eligible for return to the Consignor.
• Unsold items priced at $50.00 or more may be withdrawn by the Consignor only within the 30 day consignment period.
• Funds owing must be picked up within 180 days of the consigned item’s sale.
• Funds not collected within the 180 day period will be considered a donation to the May Court Club of Oakville.
• The May Court Nearly New Shop is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• Consignors are responsible for monitoring their accounts.

General Consignment Policy Information – Please Read

• Upon inspection, items will be priced by Nearly New Shop volunteers with input from the consignor.
• Items are consigned for a 30-day period.  The End Date is printed on your Consigned Items summary form receipt. Make note of that date.
• Items may be removed from the floor if they are found to be unacceptable at a later date. (sometimes our staff may miss stains, etc.)  You will be notified by phone to pick up your item.
• Items not sold within the 30 day consignment period become the property of The Nearly New Shop. After the initial 30-day consignment period, prices are reduced by 50% and profits of all sold items go to supported charities and our Scholarship Program.
